This is the saga of my life, as I perceive it. Just my opinion of my experiences.
Where does it end?

Well, this is it, the end to all commuting as we know it. I can not believe that I had to sit in line for fuel last night because we were all afraid to wait until today to get gas. The gas prices are absolutely out of control. I would like to know how it is possible that they have jumped $1.00 a gallon in 48 hours. If we are releasing oil from the strategic reserve to cover the loses of the companies drilling in the Gulf, then why did the price go up? The oil companies lost NOTHING!!! Can you say price gouging at the largest scale and the government does nothing about it? WHAT is up with that. I was surfing the net the other day and came across a site that graphed gas prices in the US from 1996 till today. I wish that I could remember the site so that I could post it here for all to see. What it showed was quite interesting. From 1996 till 2000 (Clinton Years) the price for a gallon of gas was very steadily in the $1.30 range. Since 2000, only 5 years ago, we have more then doubled our fuel prices. Isn't that a little peculiar? Especially since the governemtn has done nothing to ease this or correct it. How is our government going to benefit from all of this? How is Bush benefitting from this? How is our government going to survive if we can't get to and from work to pay the taxes that pay their salaries? Come on people, we all need to get together and scream out loud at our State Senators and Congressmen to try to make a change. Well, that is all I have to say for now. If some of you are going crazy looking for cheap gas prices, please go to www.gaspricewatch.com and sign up as a price spotter, and let everyone know where the cheapest gas in your area is. Good Luck Everyone.
