Well, I am now a father, and can not believe how amazing it is. To think that I was involved in creating something so innocent and amazing is just mind blowing to me. My son was 8 lbs. 14 oz. and 21" long at birth. He was born via C-section after many hours of trying to induce my wife to deliver him naturally. He just didn't want to come out. He was face up and too big to come naturally. Oh well, as long as he is here now and safe that is all that I care about. My wife is incredible. She is doing great. I have been off for the past week and a half. I have to work again on Sunday for a day and then I am off again for the week. I resume my regular work schedule on the following Friday. I am glad that I have been able to be here for my wife to help out around the house and to make sure that she has everything that she needs, expecially since she can't do much herself after the C-Section. Although she tries to be independant and do what she wants from time to time, but she quickly realizes that she has done too much when her incision site starts to bother her. She has been great. I just can not say enough about how proud I am of her. She is just amazing to me. Well, folks I am off to go and play with my son. Have a great day and I will talk to you all again soon.
