I am about to become a father for the first time. My wife is due January 12, 2004, and we are VERY excited to say the least. I know that everything as I currently know it is about to change, and that is ok. I am 28 well on my way through schooling for my career and I think that it is about time for a change. I am so excited that I just can't believe it. I thought for sure that when this time came close that I was going to be some kind of nervous mess, but I am not. My wife is probably going to deliver early. That is my guess. She has been contracting for about a week now, and everyday he seems to be lower and she seems to be more uncomfortable. I wish that there was something I could do about her comfort level. I would love to be able to give her a break from carrying him and do it myself, but we all know that that can not happen. Well, I am going to go and play some video games, since this is probably one of the last times that I will be able to do that.
